Compare Audits shows what changed between two runs of the same site: the score, and which issues were fixed or are new. Use it after a fix, a redesign or a migration, or to explain a score change to a client.
Opening Compare Audits
- From the sidebar: Monitoring → Compare Audits.
- From Portfolio: the compare button on a site card opens Compare Audits with that site’s latest audit already selected.
Selecting two audits
- Optionally filter by domain to shorten the lists.
- Pick one run in Audit 1 and another in Audit 2.
- Click Compare.
The order doesn’t matter: Daylytix works out which run is older and treats it as the baseline.
Compare like with like. Use runs with the same page limit. If one audit crawled 50 pages and the other 500, many differences come from the extra pages, not from changes on the site.
Reading the results
- Two score cards - Older (baseline) and Newer (current state), with the change in points.
- Summary chips - how many issues were fixed, how many are new, and whether the score went up or down.
- Category table - the number of issues per category in each run. Fixed and new counts are net changes per category.
- Issue details - expand a category to see the individual issues, tagged fixed or new.
When to use it
- After a fix - confirm that the issues you worked on are gone and nothing new appeared.
- After a release or migration - catch new problems such as broken links, redirects or missing tags early.
- Monthly reporting - show a client what improved since last month.
- Unexpected score change - see which categories moved.
For a longer view, Score History shows the trend across all runs of a site, and Crawl Diff in the Monitoring group compares the crawled URLs themselves.
