A GA4 property ID is the number that identifies one Google Analytics 4 property. You only need it when you connect GA4 with a service account; with Sign in with Google you pick the property on the New Audit form instead.
Finding the property ID
- Open Google Analytics and select the property.
- Click Admin (the gear icon).
- Open Property Settings (under Property details).
- Copy the Property ID - a number such as
123456789.
Not the measurement ID. IDs that start with
G- are measurement IDs of a web stream. They won’t work here - use the numeric property ID.Saving it in Daylytix
- Open App Settings → Google Services → Google Analytics 4.
- Paste the number into GA4 Property ID. A
properties/prefix is fine; it is removed automatically. - Click Save Settings, then Test Connection. The test shows the name of the property it reached, or lists the properties the service account can see if no ID is set.
Several clients
The field holds one property ID. For other clients, either pick the property on the New Audit form (with Sign in with Google), or add more service account profiles under Additional Google Accounts and choose one per audit. The property used is recorded with each audit.
