The Business profile audit reads one Google Business Profile and says what is missing. It shows the fields on the profile, how the reviews are going, the posts, and how the profile stands against the listings near it. It runs on your own DataForSEO account and is available on every plan. It gives facts and no score.
Running an audit
- In App Settings → Backlinks, save your DataForSEO login and password.
- Open Rankings & Visibility → Local Pack Tracker. If you do not see it, click Show all tools at the bottom of the sidebar.
- In the Geo-grid card, find your business on Google Maps and pick it. See Local geo-grid.
- To compare with listings for a certain keyword, enter it in the Keyword field there. If you leave it empty, we use the profile’s main category.
- In the Business profile audit card below, click Audit this profile.
The profile and the nearby listings appear in a few seconds. Reviews and posts come through a slower queue, usually in a minute or more. Keep the page open and they fill in by themselves. If it takes longer, open the audit from Earlier audits later.
What it costs
One audit is about $0.02 on your DataForSEO account, at their price in November 2026. Below the result, Cost shows what was charged. Reading the reviews and posts when they are ready costs nothing more.
Reading the result
Findings come in three lists: Fix these, Ideas and In good shape.
| Part | What it looks at |
|---|---|
| The profile | Whether it is claimed, its main and other categories, phone, website, opening hours, photos, description, attributes and services. "We got no" means the data had none, so check the profile itself. |
| Reviews | The newest 50: how many came in the last 90 days, how many have a reply from the owner, and low reviews with no reply. If only the newest were read, the count says "at least". |
| Low reviews with no reply | Up to 5 reviews of 1 or 2 stars, with date and text, so you can answer them. The names of reviewers are not kept. |
| Posts | How many came in the last 90 days, and how old the newest is. Posts are optional. |
| Nearby listings | The top 20 on Google Maps for the keyword, searched from where the business stands. You see your position, then your reviews, rating and photos against the middle value of the others. With fewer than 3 others to compare, that line is left out. |
Earlier audits
Under Earlier audits you find your last 10, and Daylytix keeps 30. Audits run only when you click. AI Chat can read them, so you can ask what to fix first.
Troubleshooting
| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| Find your business in the Geo-grid card and pick it first | The audit reads the listing you picked there. Pick one, and do not reload the page in between. |
| The profile audit uses Google data from DataForSEO | Save your login in App Settings → Backlinks. |
| Google has no profile data for this listing | Try the search again with the exact name on the listing and pick it again. |
| Reviews or Posts: not read | The line gives DataForSEO’s reason. A low balance is the common one. |
